BTW, I run Earn 7 and possess a gripe about expanding folders. If I start growing folders while in the left pane view, and develop/scroll down to make sure that I’m somewhere very well down a tree (but haven’t yet picked a folder to view in the proper pane), my Windows Explorer will snap back to the basis folder.
